How do I add the upgrade I made into my spawning pool to purchase?

you make the upgrade. then you make a ability of type - research and inside that ability you give it the buttons and upgrades that are linked together in the abilities-info+ option, then you give that ability to your building(unit) in the abilities - abilities+ option and in the abilities - command card+ option

refer to the the building in the units tab called engineering bay.
refer to the research ability in the ability tab Engineering Bay - Research (Engineering Bay)
then refer to the upgrade in the upgrade tab called terran infantry armour lvl 1
