How To Host

I know there are countless tutorials and other posts on the internet, and this site, but none of them have been able to help me thus far. I would like to be able to host on WC III TFT.

I am running DSL on a ZyXEL P-600 series modem with no router. Internet is provided by Earthlink (most of you have probably never heard of it).

I've tried about everything, and it just doesn't want to work. I'm probably doing something wrong, as I'm not very computer savvy.

I guess I can try and walk you through it. What have you tried so far? Have you set up a Static IP yet?

Do you have XP or Vista?

Do you have any firewalls? (Including Windows Firewall, if it is enabled)

I have XP, and I do have windows firewall. I've tried turning that off to no avail
