Whilst I kind of agree, don't they volunteer to join in these contests?

I guess they're willingly humiliating themselves . Heck, I'd do it, it looks fun as hell !

in japan there are Alot of talk shows and game shows and people are willing to enter them for the 15 minutes of fame(even though most of the time they are picked by the producers). and as you can see they usually get interesting topics to talk about and the most absurd ideas for game shows.
