I need help with maths on Commanding Aura -.-

I am having some troubles with commanding aura. It is probably because I suck at maths but I thought I should ask here anyway...

I have a unit whose base melee damage is 350-351

This unit can learn a custom Commanding aura. Each level of commanding aura increases the units damage by an additional 10%, like this:

Level 1: 0% extra damage (0.0) (yes he needs to have this level of commanding aura first for some triggered spells)
Level 2: 10% extra damage (0.10)
Level 3: 20% extra damage (0.20)
Level 4: 30% extra damage (0.30)
Level 5: 40% extra damage (0.40)
and so on.

However, when I learn level 2 of commanding aura the unit gains 70 bonus damage (351+70=421) while I am SURE that 1.10x351=386.1

The same happens with level 3:

1.20x351=421.2 BUT from level 3 of my custom commanding aura the unit gains 140 bonus damage (351+140=491)

and so it goes on with all levels


What is wrong?

check the targets, does it have self, and friends on? if it does it might get a douvble effect, or self and allies, or self and player units, look for something like that

edit, your math is fine ;)

I only have "self" as targets allowed.

is this triggered?.

I dunno what you mean. It is a normal (or well, custom, based of Commanding aura ;)) Hero spell that was created the normal way in the object editor, added to the unit that uses this spell the normal way in the object editor, and is learned the normal way in-game.

set duration to 2.
then add something in the buff value... all values should be the same.
I think the ability Stacks.

Well, it's getting a double effect allright.

If it can't be fixed, try setting the values to 0.05/0.10/0.15/0.20 and see if it works like 0.1/0.2/0.3/0.4.
