I need trig help

Well, im making a game where each player gets 2 people a "Scientist" and a "Monster". The scientist combines items to get better ones in order for the monster to lvl up and kill peeps. and the Monster as i sed kills peeps for gold n xp. (Which by the way u can save/load with codes.) and i know how do save load stuff. But i dont know how to make it so that when to hav 2 items u use a spell and u get a new (better) item:banghead:. (like in Wilderness Survival.)

-Again- the trigger should take when a unit casts a certin spell the items it is holding in the first 2 item slots get poofed away and in their place comes a better item. like - Stick + Stick = Big Stick - or - Iron Strip + Gem stone = Crown - Starting to get the picture??? If so plz Post I NEED HELP!!

Uhm. Dunno if I have understood you correctly, but ...

Trigger:
  • Forge Hatchet
    • Events
      • Unit - A unit Finishes casting an ability
    • Conditions
      • (Ability being cast) Equal to Forge Item
    • Actions
      • If (All Conditions are True) then do (Then Actions) else do (Else Actions)
        • If - Conditions
          • Or - Any (Conditions) are true
            • Conditions
              • And - All (Conditions) are true
                • Conditions
                  • (Item carried by (Casting unit) in slot 1) Equal to (Stick)
                  • (Item carried by (Casting unit) in slot 2) Equal to (Rock)
              • And - All (Conditions) are true
                • Conditions
                  • (Item carried by (Casting unit) in slot 2) Equal to (Stick)
                  • (Item carried by (Casting unit) in slot 1) Equal to (Rock)
        • Then - Actions
          • Item - Remove (Item carried by (Casting unit) in slot 1)
          • Item - Remove (Item carried by (Casting unit) in slot 2)
          • Hero - Create Hatchet and give it to (Casting unit)
        • Else - Actions

The only thing that might go wrong with the above thing is if the items aren't in the 1st or 2nd space of the inventory.
But thats the basic gist of it anyways.

My original Idea was a building called a factory waould carry the items and would ahav a spell like "Combine" or "Make" or "Forge" and he would only hav 2 inventoey slots but the thing i dont get is wat if item 1 is in inventory slot 2?
i still dont get how that would work.:banghead::banghead::banghead: also recipes r not in my plan...
