I CANT FIGURE OUT HOW TO LOAD CUSTOM UNITS!

I GO TO ALL THESE PLACES AND THEY SAY,"OH, USE THE SKIN UNDER THE FILE BECAUSE THE AUTHOR USUALLY HAS IT." HE HAS IT ALL RIGHT, BUT THERES LIKE 5 DIFFERENT FILES AND WHEN I DOWNLOAD IT I HAVE LIKE 2!!!

Is there something I'm doing wrong? :banghead:

Actually, there is no custom units in wc3, it is the custom model.

Sometimes, some file are already contain in warcraft 3, so we just need those which are needed.

You don't need to download these, they are already inside the HeroBloodElvenPaladin and HeroBloodElvenPaladin_Portrait. Those many files are the ones used to change the model.

Can you please take me through the steps?

ok...so I download it...

Extract the the archives to your Warcraft paste (preferably Downloads [If you don't have one, them create it]), enter the World Editor, press F12 to enter Import Manager, then press Ctrl + 1, go to the paste where you extracted the models (MDX) and import them. Then, click twice in each one and check use custom path. Remove the war3mapImported\ part, close the Import Manager, save your map and exit the World Editor. Enter again in the World Editor and enter in your saved map. Then, open the Object Editor and change the model of any unit to the HeroBloodElvenPaladin (not the Portrait). Place the unit in your map. If the custom model appears, then its okay. Just test your map. Otherwise, you messed with the path, so fix it. That should do.

PS: I guess there's tutorials explaining how to import, make sure to check.
