Hey all

I have some questions concerning import of files to the WE:

Is it really necessary to replace an old skin if you import a new?
Isn't it possible to import it to something esle and then just use both?
Or is that only for models?

thanks in advance

You can only do that for models, however I believe you can replace the skins of models that you import by using their skin's path.

The answer of your question is that you must replace an old skin. That is because every model "knows" what skin to use, let's take footman as an example. Footman knows it should use 'Textures\Footman.blp'. Thus, if you replace the skin with another skin with the using same name, the footman will use that skin instead. Maybe you could use two skins at the same time by importing a footman too, not sure about that.

He could, technically, if that new footman uses a custom made skin (that could be the same as the normal footman skin), and then replace that other skin (use the same path as the OTHER custom skin) with his other other custom skin :p.
