So I'm redoing an old spell of mine - using jass this time 'round - but I have a problem that was unresolved the last time I made it.

Basically I move my caster to the location of the target offset by 600
at an arbitrary angle and then make the caster face the target.

The problem is that (and this is purely for cosmetic purposes) the caster takes
too long to face the unit.

So what I want to know is: is there a way to make a unit face an angle instantly
without watching it painfully turn. I should also mention that I've set the unit's
turn rate to over 9000 already -obviously above maximum

In GUI, there's a function 'move unit instantly and face angle/point'.

Neither of those functions turns the unit instantly, if I move the unit and he is rotated
180 degrees he still takes about 1sec to turn

All I can think of is:
When the ability is casted you store the caster in a unit variable. Then you remove the unit and restore it with the right angle at the targeted location.

Edit: Or store the unit in the game cache rather.

Is what I'm using at the moment, I doubt the AngleBetweenPointsBJ effects the turn rate,
but using this, the unit still takes it's time to turn around.

EDIT: As if your unit was facing east and your ordered it to move to a point in the westerly direction. It's effected by the turn rate of my hero

I'm not completely sure. But I think it works just fine.
I think the problem with game caches and multiplayer is when you transfer data between maps.
