Ok, so I've been playing around with huge lightsources lately, and these are the best I've come up with. C&C please, people

I <3 them both. Especially the guitar one.

Disagree. In the first one I see an abrupt end to the guitar sides to blank spots and the second one is focused on the white space behind the guy.

I do like the second one more.

Be careful with blowing out the highlights like you did on the first one. If you do, you lose a lot of precious detail that would otherwise look really awesome.

I like the second one... first one not so much. The bright bright white light doesn't fit with the streams of red and green flowing around the guitar. It also makes it look oversharpened.....

Second one is pretty cool though. Care to share the render/stock?

I agree it's really hard to see what it's inside the actual picture because it is really bright and it's not really easy to see because my eyes are too sensitive to light even if it's just a picture and not a source of light.
