yes, if you want to cast spell upon Locust unit, you must remove Locust ability first

Custom Script: call UnitRemoveAbility( udg_TempUnit, 'Aloc')

TempUnit is a unit variable that stores the Locust unit.

removing Locust ability still make the unit unselectable (by players)

Something can only be declared as truly "Solved" by the original poster :p

I understand what you're trying to do and everything, but it's unnecessary.

The above method will work, but I suggest you steer clear of using locust on units and removing it all willy-nilly. It can cause some big complications in the long run.
Why would you ever really need to cast a spell on a unit with locust? :p
