I've made my best map so far, and I am very pleased with it. I continuously work with cleaning the leaks, making it more fun and better, every day. But I can't find why sometimes it just crashes... it happends randomly, almost like 1 in 100 chance per game. Its something I either missed or didn't know I created. In any case I took the error I get when it does, those of you who could know what it means, please feel with me and post whatever it is you have.
I've talked with many people about this, and those of you who have talked with me on this problem will know ... kidding. They informed me of things such as infinite loops, corrupted texture/model, variable division with zero... if you know something else that can cause map crash and its not:
- Location/Unit Group/Player Group/Unit/SFX/Region Leaks
Please share what you know. It may fix my problem, which in that case will credit you here and in map. I pwomise =]
Out of this conversation, I tried Leak Checker and that piece of program rocks. However I get problems when trying to clean Player Groups. So is this a way to do it, just say yes or no:
Example:
set Player_Group = (Owner of Picked Unit)
call DestroyForce ( udg_Player_Group )
Thanks beforehand and hopefully there will be solutions to this... otherwise I'll kill myself... I guess
