maximum units?

Is there a way to add to the max number of units you can have in your WE map? I am slimming down quest mobs now to finish the map but I'd really like to keep it the way it is.

why not to create units after game is started (zomgzomg 3k units is way too much)

WEU (outdated software, might bug) or JNGP (also a little outdated but alot better) can do this. both have a function to remove limits of the wc3 editor.
though, as diod said, you shouldnt place to many units because of lag.
