Missing maps in single player

I have downloaded the 1.2 patch and the new maps (like fall of saigon, etc.) load for multiplayer but does not for single player. How do I get it to work?

I suggest going back to where you downloaded the maps and make sure you didn't specify anything you didn't want. Like maybe there was an option > Only Multiplayer/Singleplayer and you somehow highlighted one option or the other. Otherwise it's not too big a deal because you get ranks and crap on multiplayer. And if you want to try some tactics just make a lan (Local Area Network) map or a locked multiplayer map and you should be fine...

Some of the maps are a specific size. Only coop sized maps can be played in singleplayer.
