This is a great movie if you have seen the Hunger Games already. I cannot comment on how a first timer who has no knowledge of the movies at all would view this because I have seen all the current Hunger Games Movies. This is a prequel to the Hunger Games movies trilogy.
This is a long movie and has some dead time in it - if you cannot sit through a 2 and a half hour movie you might want to wait for the DVD or Stream. IMHOI, this movie would be best viewed in the Movie Theater for the Action scenes. It is not a full action movie but when it happens it is extreme.
The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes is 2 thumbs up from me and cannot wait for MOAR!
