"New Posts" indicator

OK, so every time I go through and look at all the new posts on the forum, all the icons on the forum index are at the "no new posts" icon after I'm done. But when I close Safari, open it again, and come back to the site, they all say "new posts" even though they's just all the posts I just read. I have to click on the "Mark forums read" link on the forum index to make them marked as read permanently. Is this intentional?

I don't know - it might have something to do with Safari and its caching.

The new post indicator has always shown odd behavior when you leave and come back to the forums (have not noticed in different browser sessions but I dont use safari either) - I have not seen what you say in particular but it does not appear to be in complete synch with what is actually going on in the forums.

I will keep my eyes open but you might want to hit the mark forums read link after you finish reading the forums to get by this bug.
