Why would you take off with less than enough fuel for your trip? If you're dumb enough to do that then you can face the consequences of your stupidity.

How many times have you run out of gas in your car compared to flying an airplane? This isn't an airplane; it's a car that is being designed to fly. People aren't going to ensure that they have tons of extra fuel if they want to drive.

Airplane fuel is really really high octane.

It still wouldn't matter. You're not going to be worried about running out of fuel while you're driving like you would be while flying five miles high.
