Passive's to Ablity

what is the proper event/conditions for adding, say, a passive atribute bonus to an ability that is not passive, eg, they get 5 strength when they learn the ability Thunder Clap, and 5 strength for each additional level (this is the part i cant get to work).
i tried using the Unit learns a skill event, and some conditions to filter to the ability, but it wont work.

sorry i cant post the trigger, im not at home right now.

Try making a custom Item ability, based off of Item Strength Gain:

Level 1 - 0 Strength
Level 2- 5 Strength
Level 3 - 10 strength
Level 4 - etc. etc.

Give your hero the custom ability in the Object Editor, so that he has it from the start. When he learns Thunder Clap, use a trigger to increase the level of your custom Strength ability. It would look something like this:

Trigger:
  • Event
    • Hero - Learns a skill
    • Conditions
      • Learning Hero equal to [your hero]
      • Ability being learned equal to [Thunder Clap]
    • Actions
      • Unit - Set level of [Strength ability] to Level of [Strength ability] + 1 for (learning hero)


That might not be exact, but something to that extent.

your extra attribute point need to show as bonus OR add in permanent? If the answer is the second, just use trigger to add in the value.

If is the first option, then do you have other attribute bonus ability? If so, please list it out, so we can come out the better solution.
