Hi, I installed bfield 2142 from scratch in the default directory. Downloaded the patch, tried to install it and it says it cant find 'the battlefield install directory. I dont know if it has anything to do with it but the patch takes forever to load after clicking the .exe icon. Maybe its a dud dl? Get it from another website? Anyway, without the patch I cant play multiplayer which completely kills this brand new game for me 
please help. Oh and I already tried reinstalling the game and putting the patch in the game directory to start with. Thank you.
