Pathing map - 1x1?

Is it possible to make units pathing to be 1x1? I tried importing a custom tga of 1x1 dimensions, colored magneta (Red 255 Green 0 Blue 255), but it says it cannot load it or simply doesn't show up at all.

Let's just say I need really thin buildings that would form something, as using 2x2 would make it too large.

Wouldn't one path be the one that, for instance, barrels are using be 1x1?

Something with 1x1 pixel isn't of much use.

According to this, 1 pixel in TGA image is equal to 32 Warcraft grid units. 1x1 would be 32x32 grids, wouldn't it? Barrel is actually 2x2default.tga!

Barrels and friends is as small as it gets to still make sense.

Well, And if I need something size of 1/4th barrel. Is it possible? And zooming out or something liek that doesnt work. I need it to be exactly 1/4th of the barrel pathing size. Is that possible?
