Preloading an Ability (Issue)

So, I'm using this system I found:

That's me preloading my hero, his abilities, dummy abilities and dummy units used in abilities. I used some debug messeges to make sure it was preloading, and it was.

So the problem is, when I use one of my spells (which has the dummy unit/spell itself preloaded) it lags the first time it is cast.

I would of though preloading them would fix that... Is this system just a failure or am I missing something?

Note: If I stop the spell from creating the dummy units (which I have preloaded!), there is no lag at all on the first cast.

Why do you use a system to preload?
You can just pre-place a unit on the map and add all the abilities to that unit on map init, then remove the unit.

Because it preloads units aswell. So I may aswell use the ability preloader that comes with it.

I prefer preloading a unit with code over placing it on the map.

But I'm going to put the dummy on the map now and see if it is lag free.

OK... it still lags. Hmm. Seems like a mystery.

You sure you're preloading all the dummy unit's abilities?
Maybe you're missing some "small" abilities, like abilities hidden in spellbooks.

No, and considering when I set the ability not to spawn the units, it doesn't lag on the first cast at all, that wouldn't be the reason.

All I can think of is maybe because the dragon hawk's missile is the units model and it is 2x scale and about 10 of them are made in the first second of the spell.

But it only lags on the first cast, so that still doesn't make sense to me. Oh well.

Try creating a new custom unit and give it all the abilities that your dummy uses, then change the spell so that you use the new dummy, preload it - and see if it still lags on first cast.
