Putting an arrow over a building

Special Effect - Create a special effect attached to the large of City Building 5 0003 <gen> using Abilities\Spells\Other\Aneu\AneuTarget.mdl

This doesn't seem to work, it works over another building which was a workshop but not for this city building unit. It says required animation tag large in the object editor.

Some models without attachment points are not able to have effects attached on them, thus no display. Particularly doodad models.

You could extract the model, add an attachment point and import it again? Even though, I would not know how to do this :rolleyes:

Thanks for replies, it is actually a unit model from cityscape or whatever. But yeah maybe it can't be done.

Hmm not sure how to do that linkenkron but it doesn't matter, it's only a minor cosmetic addition to a map.

possable solution would be to make a fyling unit with the arow moddel and then give it locust.. put then this unit at the same place as the building

done it, yep same way you said madd except didn't think of the flying unit, just used another building. Thanks all.
