is there a way to force a unit to stop researching something like through trigger?

Example:
Event: unit begins researching something
condition: owner doesn't have enough something
Action: stop trigger unit from researching that reserch

I think the "stop" command will make the unit stop researching

Trigger:
  • Research
    • Events
      • Unit - A unit owned by Player 1 (Red) Begins research
    • Conditions
      • (Player 1 (Red) Current gold) Less than 150
    • Actions
      • Unit - Order (Researching unit) to Stop

Doesn't prevent the building from finishing a revival - But dunno if it works with researches :D
I think if you pause it and unpause it, it stops it :)

As far as i know, stop and pause both do not work. If you pause it then unpause it, it will still remember it's orders and will continue after being unpaused.

Something along this maybe? (you can change the conditions to what ever you need it to be)

Trigger:
  • Untitled Trigger 001
    • Events
      • Unit - A unit owned by Player 1 (Red) Begins research
    • Conditions
      • (Player 1 (Red) Current gold) Less than 1337
    • Actions
      • Unit - Replace (Researching unit) with a (Unit-type of (Researching unit)) using The old unit's relative life and mana
      • Selection - Select (Last replaced unit) for Player 1 (Red)
      • Game - Display to (Player group((Owner of (Researching unit)))) the text: You need 1337 gold ...

pausing a unit, and ordering it to stop and then unpausing should make it forget its orders, however, i dont know if that would actually cancel a research

This doesn't cancel revival atleast, so bet it's the same for researches.
I think replacing is probably the best thing too.
BUT, there might be a bug like: Units attack building. Building starts research and gets replaced. Units attacks something else since the building got replaced, and weren't the original target. ? If it's someone attacking a base and set all units to attack the building. Don't know if ya get what I mean :p
