Honey Garlic Shrimp Stir-Fry
This Honey Garlic Shrimp recipe makes a healthy and delicious Stir-Fry meal featuring shrimp and vegetables.
Ingredients:
- 12 large shrimp, tail off deveined
- 1 1/2 cup broccoli florets
- 1/2 cup red bell pepper
- 1/2 cup onion
- 2 tsp minced garlic
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1/2 tsp ground ginger
- 1 tsp cornstarch
- 1 Tbsp unsalted butter
- 2 Tbsp oil
- Large wok or skillet
- Mixing bowl
- In the mixing bowl, combine the soy sauce, honey, ginger, red pepper flakes and garlic together, adding the cornstarch last
- Mix until all the lumps are gone then put aside
- Heat oil in wok or skillet over medium high heat
- Add in bell peppers and onions and cook approximately 3-4 minutes
- Add in broccoli and cook another 4 minutes or so before adding in butter
- Once the butter is melted add in shrimp and cook approximately 2 minutes on each side
- Add in the sauce and cook until it thickens, about 2 minutes
Note:
- Serve over rice
