Remote Access Tools

Offhand does anyone know of a program that lets you treat a networked computer as being an extra screen on your main computer?

I tried playing around with the windows tools, but couldnt seem to find this option for it

I am not sure exactly what you are asking here but there are lots of good free remote control software packages out there. The one I can think offhand is

Basically I have 2 laptops, and I want to hook one into my TV to play stuff from youtube or my harddrive on the TV.

Me being incedibly lazy, I'm looking for a way to be able to run stuff like that on the laptop hooked up to the TV from the one I have where I'm sitting

No space for peripherals sadly , but will definitely check out logmein

for windows, the system being controlled (aka the one hooked up to the TV) needs to be either a server, professional, or ultimate version in order for the default remote desktop to work
