Script Error, but no script...

Hello, sorry for being a newb!

But me, a lone mapmaker (my map never quite existed more than existing, but I made some in my time) got into a weird problem. I can't SAVE my maps because of some weird script error.

See image and explanations below :

There is no script in this map, minus a Dummy script, it gets deactivated when I try to save, then this window pops up (Fonction native non enregistrée = Birth fonction not saved) and I can't touch anything or save anymore, I got to reset.

I am not using anything else than a Mac and the French version of the WCIII map editor. Any ideas why this shit happens ? Thanks.

The thing about version switcher patching is this:
If you had 1.23 and patched to 1.24 and then 1.24b using purely the switcher without using an original Patch install first (Via B.Net or Blizzard webby), the switcher only patches the game and not the World Editor.

Or the Switcher causes things to get buggy.
To fix it is simple:

Patch to 1.23 with VersionSwitcher
Download the 1.23-1.24a Patch
Patch
Download the 1.24a-1.24b Patch
Patch

Voila!


Note: This only works if the issue was caused by Version switcher which may, or may not, be the case for you

Didn't work.

Need to repatch the 1.23? I think it is the problem. I repatched from 1.23a to 1.24a and then 1.24b from blizzard patches.

Vers switch to 1.23,
Then patch upwards from there, yes, should work if the problem was wvs's fault.

Looks like it wasn't =P

Hmmmm, i tried return with wsv to 1.23, open warcraft and wait until update finishes...

The same thing happaned...

Well... i will do triggers and ask to one of my friends to save it to me, the only way...
