JAPAN (WKRC) - Producer and director Katsuhiro Harada responded to fans' overwhelming requests to add Waffle House to the popular fighting game Tekken.

In a now viral tweet, which has garnered over 10 million views, Tekken producer and director Katsuhiro Harada asked fans why they would like to see Waffle House become an official stage.

"Ok, I will only ask once about this request," Harada wrote. "Why do some communities send me requests for Waffle House? Please be sure to explain the basis for the question, including the original story, history and background."

Harada's post received thousands of replies from fans of both Tekken and Waffle House, giving various reasons why the diner would make a suitable environment for the Tekken franchise.
