Terrain Help!

Im making a kind of "village builder" map, but I have no Idea what to do for terrain.
you start out with your overlord, and you have to find a spot to start building your base. I know everyone will start in the middle, but thats it. There are mountains and snowy caps to the north, the map size is 192x192, and idk what else to do.
Could anyone be kind and lend some ideas?

You can make a oasis on a desert.
A florest on the south.
A giant "place to build village" surrounded by a lake.

A dungeon with some height-changes, a pond etc..
A beach, sand & water ofc, and some "beachy" things...
Maybe a mountain cliff with both grass and snow, thinking of grass in the lower part, and snow in the higher parts...

hmmm well its kindas like village builder, but u dont get any villagers tho.
u have to mine for gold or something, but your guyses ideas sound pretty good.
so far: forest swamp thing bottom right corner, northern has mountains w/ snow caps, but idk what to put for the center (where you start)
