I think that taking the child to court because he got into a fight on the bus is a waste of money!! Now, if this child had a weapon or severely hurt the other I can understand. In my opinion suspension would have been sufficient. Zero tolerance can be taken too far.

Yeah, I agree. Fighting is also natural in teenagers. I would totally spar with my friends but we all suck at fighting. Anyway, when a kid gets mad, he honestly doesn't know how to control it very well. I'm a teen, and when I get mad, I want to destroy things. Forcing kids for fighting into courts is like saying since you couldn't control your nature, no matter how difficult, you're going to take severe mental and financial punishment for it.

@Vypur85 Again, corporal punishment does work, so long as it is used in moderation (you don't want to break anything).
