I am looking for some fun MMORPGs and I've come down to this. I haven't played them (due to capped internet) and I would like to know what is the general thought on these games.
Ether Saga is an anime/chinese-culture based game. Deitys, demons and humans exist in a single world and you get to choose amongst them.
It's interesting, for a free game. What I mean by that is after trying [literally] all free mmorpgs that looked good, they all feel the same. It's mindless point, dbl-click, wait, kill, repeat. With the occasional special attack on the F2 key or running away from a beefed-up boss.
Ether Saga tries to keep you entertained, it lasted me almost a month.
Graphics are amazing for a free game, but that's coming from someone who likes anime so...
My suggestion? Try it out. You will probably get hooked onto it for a while.
I do know this - xenforo dropped the ball by not keeping the vbulletin reputation comments as a feature. The loss of the Reputation comments data when we switched to Xenforo really was the death knell for the site when it came to all the users that left. I know I missed it so much and I got way less interested in the site when that feature was gone and I run the site.
I'm on a page about incorrect corrections, and spent the better part of like two hours trying to get someone to understand that -5^2 = -25, not 25, and then that post had comments get reposted because that group is self sustaining, and that person was in turn trying to explain what I just explained to them. And I'm taking that as a victory
