There is Camera bound, but is there Minimap bounds?

I am trying to make a big map, something like mini games. And i had set my camera bounds to the place it put. But the minimap showed the full map. Is there any trigger to ...you know... to make the minimap same as my camera bounds? GUI preferred. sorry.....

If I understood your question right.

You cannot change the minimap in-game. You can import a custom minimap though, but you won't be able to change it through triggers or in-game.

Edit: Hum I'm not sure. I think I saw it in the Pyramid Escape.

I haven't tried this, however Blizzards Skibi Castle TD uses this thing if my memory serves me right. Try opening that map and see how they handle the minigames.

This is a pretty common question.

There *IS* a trigger in Skibi which restricts the current camera bounds, and DOES change the appearence of the minimap slightly.

The problem is that the minimap gets all funky when this is done. The hero icons, for instance, just move through walls and all kinds of weird stuff on the minimap. The larger your map, the more prevalent this problem becomes.

It isn't possible to do it cleanly so that it looks like you would expect it to. As far as I know.

The complex fix would be to try and import custom minimap images. But I don't know that you can use triggers to change which custom minimap you are displaying.
