unit disappears, and then reappears

In my map i set a unit to a spot, as in i did not create a unit on the map, rather set him in that position beforehand. what i don't understand is sometimes the unit isn't there. Then i would leave the area and come back(within 30 seconds) and he would be there. some of you probably had this happen in the past, so, what do you do for it?

Does he have permanent invisibility, or some other form of it?

WOW im stupid. thanks, it was the Warden and I guess whenever i went in there it was night so shadowmeld screwed me up. +rep for the time waste
