Unit movement speed reduction..

As war as I know increasing a units movement speed by 100% will double its movement speed..

but why doesn't a 100% movement speed reduction makes a unit unable to move??

is this because of the minimum movement speed??

reason for this question:
i played hero's and army's with the blood mage..
banish increases magic damage done and reduces movement speed..
at level 10 it was a movement speed reduction of 500%.. so logically it would move backwards at a 400% movement speed increase (I know that this wont happen), 100% will logically stop a unit form moving..
and i wondered why can my enemy banished units still move??

Yes. since it's not a building, it's bound to move for at least 1.
You should make it so that the unit's movement is bound (like Entangle), if you want the unit to not move at all, or pause it and pause it's animation, too.

just make the minimum speed to the unit to 0 and in the game constants change the minimum spped to 0. Then in the trigger editor just make the units Set movespeed to Curent Movespeed / Curent movespeed

in gameplay constants the minimum possible is 1 or 0.1 or something.

and if a hero is effected by banish isint it immune to magic?

or is this all triggerd?

i was talking about the normal banish from the blood mage..
no a banished unit takes extra damage but is immune to physical damage..

In fact, the guy above Chewbalka was right, only that he didn't mention to Shift+Double Click the value in order to enter 0. Else it's always set to 1.

Have in mind though, units that have default 0 movespeed by editor cannot move afterwards, even if you trigger them.
