Unit With Destructible Model Appears White

Hello, I'm trying to create a sort of 'hidden' unit that appears to be a tree (it cannot move or attack, but cast one spell). So I quickly found out that destructibles cannot have abilities, so then I created a unit, based from a footman and changed the art file to a tree and it appears white and texture-less in the game (see attachment). :banghead:

Is it possible to change a units art model to that of a destructible (ie. tree)

Thanks

You need to import the tree model but with the desired texture specified within the model itself. How this is done, I have no idea.

its because destructables use a replaceable texture, because a unit dosent assign replaceable textures for the doodad, the doodad is left unskinned.

what you can do is turn your unit into a unit that has no model and plant a destructable ontop of that unit
