Unlocking a map!

I tried turning on the notorious Brush list, since it is actually quite useful for the particular map I am working on (I am constantly looking up units from a tutorial which gives their paths).
It slows me down awfully, but I cannot believe that there is no workaround to have it turned on and still be able to copy/paste units quickly.
Now every time I copy a unit my map is locked for like 1-2 minutes before it starts responding.

The brush list is the reason that it takes forever. There is no workaround, the brush list reloads every time you copy/paste a unit, which is why it is so slow.

You can remove the brush list.
I believe it's under "Window > Brush list".
