Warcraft 3 Shortcut: How do one open it in custom window size?

That should work, its how I get my W3 to run at 1680x1050

You meant fullscreen, right? I tested it out, using the newly input values: 1024 and 768. When I do, if windowed, it stays the same. But if the target is tagged with "-res" at the end, it gives me the fullscreen 1024x768 resolution, which isn't what I wanted.

Don't you have to go to the options in WC3 and change the video under options?

I did, and no use at all.

warcrafts mouse keeps you from resizing it so..

get you mouse over warcrafts icon on the taskbar, right click and choose the option "size", your cursor should look kinda like a compass rose. now start trying to drag!

The problem is the screen resolution you are running at.

I don't quite know how to explain this, but the easiest thing to show you is for you set the game to 800 x 600 then change the resolution of the screen and watch how it transforms.

Usually there is some kind of .cfg or .ini file that contains the resolution and then you can change it and it will keep it forever, but I can't find it by looking. I'll do a search here in a minute to see if I can find any file with it.

Yeah that was a waste of time didn't find crap.

So the only thing I can think of is for you to resize the screen each time or change you desktop resolution. IT may seem like a hassle but it'll fix your problem.

Changing the desktop...that means I have to sacrifice some quality? My monitor won't look as sharp as in 1200x800. It would get very blurry.
