What happened to the Anchors?

First of all, I'm not sure where to post this thread. I guess it will be moved by some magical house-elf that no one ever sees, should this be the wrong Forum. -In that case, beloved house-elf, I'm sorry for the inconvenience.

With that said, to the point:
What happened to the Anchors?
You know, code tags that worked as links inside the webside. To help people find better in Tutorials, and similar.

I believe they were being "fixed" a long time ago, but they never seem to have returned?
I miss them.

You mean HTML tags? You can't use those in posts. But the forum automatically parses any links that you post, like this:

I have seen people do anchors with them before as well but I see no mention of that in the page I just linked you to.

There's no 'bb version' of html's anchor?
I'm a bit disappointed that Thehelper.net can't have useful anchor tags, but can have: [noparse] [YOUTUBE][/YOUTUBE] [/noparse]
..Youtube tags, what the heck is up with that?!

As they are (ab)used for everything and the kitchen sink... except for spoilers...
