doesnt make sense to me... can explain how that works?

What I mean is your main unit is kept in the middle of the gigantic map. And maybe you have terrain deformations or regions you want to "get to" well you don't make the unit move to the regions so much as you make the region move to the unit.

If you've ever played an old 2d fighter like Midway, or Helios, you understand what I am describing ^_^

HECK even if you played Galaga! Everything moves around the player unit, not vice versa.
