As the title suggests, I need hero and item ideas, for my HLW/AOS map.
The theme is, the darkness is trying to conquer the light, so i need heroes for both sides. +Rep for good ones.

Hero Status :
  • Good - 5/5 - Barbarian (100%), Holy Paladin (95%), Magician (50%), Warlord (50%), Hunter (25%), 54% Total Good
  • Bad - 5/5 - Emmisary of Chaos (0%), Dark Paladin (95%), Blade Machine (80%), Stompa Crusha (80%), Animator (0%) 51% Total Bad
    Total 52.5% Complete

Keep 'em coming for future versions! Btw, still need item ideas.

> Blind - *use heal spray as buff to show the unit is blinded by the light*

Item Suggestion:
- Sword of Revealing Light - like gem of true seeing :p

Moltak the
Dark Paladin

Story: Moltak was once a powerful and respected Paladin of the High Order, until one day, he fell into the lure of a dreadlord. Offered powers beyond many of his fellow fighters, he was tempted and was lost into the darkness. Like many others, he was transformed into an undead being. He now travels the world with his deathly scourge. Able to manipulte dark energies and the souls of which he captures, he is inevitably an evil not to meddle with.

Strength: High
Agility: Medium
Inteliigence: Medium​

Ravage Soul
Description: [passive] channels energy into his sword, making every attack ravage the soul of his victim. Adds slight damage, lifesteal, and (extra) stores the souls of every enemy he kills.
Level 1: +5 damage, 8% lifesteal, 10 souls maximum
Level 2: +10 damage, 12% lifesteal, 15 souls maximum
Level 3: +15 damage, 16% lifesteal, 20 souls maximum​

Deathly Nova
Description: [point-target] using the ravaged souls he has stored, Moltak creates a nova of deathly energy at a target point, dealing damage in an area equal to the amount of souls stored. 15 second cooldown.
Level 1: 250 area, 12 damage per soul
Level 2: 300 area, 16 damage per soul
Level 3: 350 area, 20 damage per soul​

Corrupted Light
Description: [unit-target] creates a corrupted orb of light on an ally unit, healing it every second. The orb also damages enemy units nearby in a 220 area. Lasts 10 seconds. 25 second cooldown.
Level 1: Heals and damages 10
Level 2: Heals and damages 20
Level 3: Heals and damages 30​

Charge of Darkness - Ultimate
Description: [point-target] Moltak's horse takes 3 seconds to ready up, and facing the direction of the selected point anywhere on the map, he charges out up to 2500 distance. He has no collision during the effect, and deals damage to enemies hit by him with a 200 area. At the end of the trail, of when he stops, Moltak stomps the ground, dealing damage and stunning nearby enemies in a 300 area. 80 second cooldown.
Level 1: 200 damage per second near charge, 200 damage stomp, 2 second stun​

and yes, i have Medium-High - High experience in GUI triggers, so i can make a fair few spells.

Holy Paladin

Story: Born into a family deep into the Holy Order, Maltok was Moltak's best friend. Together, they would always be at the top. With powers of righteousness, he never stops fighting for his lost, but not forgotten, friend. He smites enemies with holiness, yet can still bless his allies with protection. Calling upon the gods, he is truly a magnificent sight in his shining glory and power.

Restore Soul
Description: [passive] channels energy into his sword, making every attack restore the soul of himself. Adds slight damage, lifesteal, and (extra) has heals himself for every unit he kills.

Holy Nova

Level 1: 80 line damage, 40 AoE damage, 1 second stun
Level 2: 160 line damage, 80 AoE damage, 1.5 second stun
Level 3: 240 line damage, 120 AoE damage, 2 second stun​

Righteous Light
Description [unit-target] creates a righteous orb of light on an ally unit, healing it every second. The orb also damages enemy units nearby in a 220 area. Lasts 10 seconds. 25 second cooldown.

Level 1: Heals and damages 10
Level 2: Heals and damages 20
Level 3: Heals and damages 30​

Charge of Light - Ultimate
Description: [point-target] Maltok's horce takes 3 seconds to ready up, and facing the direction of the selected point anywhere in the map, he summons 2 Knights on each side of him (total 4). The player loses control of the hero, but the paladin becomes invunerable. The 5 units remain in a line formation, and charge out towards the point to a total of 1000 distance. Movespeed becomes maximized. The Knights let out a healing aura in a 220 area around each of them, and an immolation for each knight with an area of 220.
Level 1: 5%/100 health per second, 100 damage per second​

Nice, I might edit the Ultimate to make it do more damage (2x Str type move)

BTW great difficulty level, not too hard, yet will be a fun challenge

Spiritomb the Forbidden (based on Pokemon)

Intelligence Type Hero

Skills:

Dark Pulse: Spiritomb blasts units around it with dark energy, dealing damage based from his intelligence, enemies that got hit becomes scared that they loose attack damage and armor for 8 seconds.
Level 1: 9x of Intelligence, 15% attack reduction
Level 2: 18x of Intelligence, 30% attack reduction
Level 3: 27x of Intelligence, 45% attack reduction

Nasty Plot: The user thinks dark thoughts on his enemies, making him invisble for 40 seconds, if the user breaks invisibility by attacking or casting a spell, the caster gains bonus intelligence for 25 seconds.
Level 1: +7 Int
Level 2: +14 Int
Level 3: +21 Int

Spite: A passive ability that causes nearby enemies to deal damage and consume extra mana to themselves whenever they cast spells near Spiritomb.
Level 1: Damage is 20% of mana cost, enemies lose 30 mana
Level 2: Damage is 45% of mana cost, enemies lose 50 mana
Level 3: Damage is 70% of mana cost, enemies lose 70 mana

Memento: Whenever Spiritomb gets killed by a hero player, the killer deals damage per second and suffers 35% decreased stats and 25% slow to both attack and movement speed. Lasts until Spiritomb is respawned/revived.
Level 1: 25 damage per second.

Nice hero, although, do you mean 9% of his intelligence or 9 times his intelligence? I might make it a bit less to classify as a normal spell. Maybe 35% decreased stats + Attack and Movespeed decrease might be annoying, yet the spawntime won't be too big... hmmm will think about that one. Thanks for the hero ideas, now all i need some more Dark Hero ideas and some item ideas.

Well...for example if your map's hero use 4 level of each ability and 2 ultiamte
its not that all overpowerd....even if u use 10 level abilities u cant still kill Albatrosky : ) with magics.








Btw i forgot that he uses magic imuniti(neutral creeps) as abilities normal (not hero ability) anyway.... u might want to reconsider and add him in to the secret hero tavern ^^?

Moldclaw the Stygian Doll (From Diablo II)
Agility Type Hero

Acceleration: A targeted buff skill that gradually increases the targets movement speed every second, the effect wears of if the target stops moving.
Level 1: +6% per second for 10 seconds
Level 2: +12% per second for 10 seconds
Level 3: +18% per second for 10 seconds

Backlash: A passive ability that deals extra damage to the enemy and slows its movement speed, it will only work if Moldclaw attack the hero from the target's rear end. Slow lasts for 2 seconds.
Level 1: +8% slow, +9 damage
Level 2: +16% slow, +18 damage
Level 3: +24% slow, +27 damage

Payback: Turns on a buff for 10 seconds, when this buff ends, a percent of the total damage received during the duration of the buff is added to attack damage for 12 seconds.
Level 1: 12% of the total damage is added to attack
Level 2: 24% of the total damage is added to attack
Level 3: 36% of the total damage is added to attack

Vital Stab: An autocast ability, that forcefully stabs the foe. each blow reduces armor by 2 and 30 deals extra damage. Note, each successive cast stack with the previous instances of this skill, stacks up 10 times. Armor reduction lasts for 12 seconds.

Rune of Time Travel
While wearing this strange magical rune the hero has a 15% chance to get back 4 seconds into past when attacked (like nerubians ulti).
It cannot be cast if hero has more than 40% of full hp. CHARGED

Mask of Mind Control
When activated the hero can take control of nearby non-hero units. These units have increased armor and damage. All nearby heroes (even allied) are slowed by 40%.

Heart of the Forgotten One
This "thing" is looking so strange. The prophets say its the heart of Forgotten One himself. It gives +25% of current strength, 20 armor, 35% damage return and ability to become immune to all spells for 10 seconds.

Werebear Claw
This mighty claw gives you 25 to strength and agility, bash, life steal and roar.

Staff of the Dark Summoner
The Staff of one of the most powerfull necromancers that ever crossed the earth. Gives 30 Inteligence, 450 mana, corruption and animate dead.


You can make these items as recipes or not.... its up to you :p

LOL! That stinky hero dude is RIGGED to the max! He basically can't die. :D Because whatever you argue with - doesn't every other hero have the same defence too?

Anyway, all of your skills are SO imba. These maps these days are all so rigged with like +500 agility, +45 armor, +6000 health, lol.

I'll come up with more later.

Hero movesets? Well, i like the "mountain of ideas" thing anyways, although I dont want all of them to be inspired by different games and T.V shows.
