This could be updated to use tomes to modify base amounts(not adding green numbers) of damage and attributes.

We've got natives to modify base stats, but I agree with the base damage.

I can't get myself to use Nestharus' Bonus system due to the Lua Framework requirements,
so I just converted Status to use CTL, his version of DummyCaster, and UnitIndexer.

Sounds like an excellent choice. Whatever works for you! :D

Status is certainly beast, imo.

So, should we ask for modifyBaseDamageBonus/getBaseDamageBonus methods? I'd really appreciate 'em.

Sadly we lack those natives... and it's even more sad that we don't have any ability that modifies base armor at all... So I must use a 20 level upgrade and set the given armor value for each hero, which sucks as I prefer to have everything trigger based.

See, I think that doesn't really belong to this system... Especially if you use tomes for it. I think it warrants its own resource - this is just for bonuses - anything that can be considered a status effect. Like, modifying base damage certainly isn't what a buff should do, or something.

Maybe you're right. Maybe it does belong here. Maybe I'm too lazy to update it anyway, these days.. lol

I guess I'd sooner feel like making an "attributes" system which just is there for adding/removing stats permanently. Then again, there's natives for str/agi/int and nothing for armour (?) and tomes for damage are an exception. Hm...

Well, it's "Status", not "Bonus". If so, base damage should be on the list too :)

I've seen it done somewhere (YouTD, if I recall correctly), but I'd be nice to have it in Status.

Also, we lack Sight Range bonuses too ->We need an update. It'd take like 10 minutes to update, so please J4L, don't do this with us, update it :)

Lol, is there actually a way to do this?

It'd take me 10 minutes to fire up the editor, let alone test my work before releasing it... lol xP

Eh, if people really want it, I can give it a shot... it's just... "Status" as in current status of a unit, not changing the unit itself.. lol, hmm...

can this be used to get a unit's current mana regen/health regen including bases?
