Probably he clicked "EDIT" in Pivot then made the small stick, then two colored sticks by using the "COLOR" option in Pivot. Then I think he added sound fx using that tool Muziou (smthn like that, sorry) Ken mentioned.

He probably also made them move together to make them seem "attached".

sfx = sound effects. Miziuo mentioned Window's Movie Maker, which I don't think comes with Star Wars sfx... Star Wars would sue them if they didn't pay, and it costs a lot to pay them in the first place.
Maybe he just had the sfx on his comp already?

for the extending and shortening of the blades i did do what you said purge, although i made three, one normal sized, one short, and one meduim sized.

Umm this is cool and I just made my first but I have a problem. I made a quick one and made it a gif. Then I editted it with sound from MWMM and it can only save as a MWMM file which photoshop can't upload. How do I change the file type?

Umm I tried the save movie web thing but I was only able to pick 2 video providers, Neptune Mediashare and Mydeo. How do I make it show photobucket or do I need to register?

EDIT: i dont have wmm2 so it may be different, but all i do is go to file>save movie file, chose my location(i chose to save it in my computer), chose name and what folder to save it to. OR I HAVE ANOTHER IDEA. photoshop can upload .gif, so edit your movie in photoshop first, then do it in wmm.
