P2P are fail. F2P FTW!
Wrong in so many ways. P2P games fail but so do F2P. The best games are ones that you pay only once. eg. Call of Duty 4: MW, Counterstrike: Source, D2, WC3 TFT, and so on. I can agree that only a few F2P games rock (tibia :shades:)but in general, i still think both F2P and P2P games fail.

You should have known what I meant by F2P. Those that you listed are what I meant...

Lol, yeh. I hate how you have to pay monthly. They can't be satisfied by the millions+ copies sold *$150 (total for all 3 games [WoW, BC, WotLK]) o_O' That's a lot of cash. Subtracting all the other stuff ofc, that's still quite a bit.

It would be so much cooler if it was like 1 month of IN-GAME play time. Like the 1 month would only count as you were playing, not depending on the day of the purchase and counting 30 days from that day forward.

Why do you think people do especially WC3 players h8 on it [i used to untill i did trial i liked it]
heres what i wanted to post in a diff thread but it was too off topic so i removed it

Cause wc3 is from July 3, 2002
while wow is
November 23, 2004
so newer = Better for the gamer
Better quality
Better community
Better support
Rpgs are just obsessed over
and if i were to bet the #1 reason why people h8 wow is the "addiction" which we all know is absolute bull shit[that and paying]

tell me what you think we people h8 it?
feel free to comment react write your reason why you do/think people h8 it for x,y,and z
This is not suppose to offend any one

newer does not necessarily = better for the gamer.
You would think that newer means better quality, but this is not always the case.
Just because a game is new doesn't mean it has a better community.
RPGs aren't obsessed over by everyone. Your generalizing things to much.
WoW can be addictive if you have an addictive personality. Paying is a big reason why people won't play it though.
I find it to boring. Made it to level 20 with every class, it was the same boring stuff over and over again and that's why I don't play it (just my opinion)

I just love tehe entire warcraft lore.
i can spend an hour reading stuff at WoWWiki.. :).

Don't hate wow, just think it is a game with no certain reason, and now it is too easy. I know it is harder at 80 but it is still to repetitive, but sure, I play it for one week normally then I don't for about 3-5 months, then I play one week again.
But I think people that like wc3 like the variety of the maps, to set wc3 to a genre is wrong in my opinion:p Hopefully none sees this as offensive>.<

If you hate a game because you have to pay for it. lol. I don't know what to say.

Well, I hate it because I don't find it fun. Also because it's not more expensive by a fixed amount. It's indefinitely more expensive. It's $15/mo more expensive.

WoW has three kinds of players.

The first are the a*holes who play it like a sport. Or, the wrong way.
Then there are the gamers, who play WoW because they enjoy it and the end-game and such.
Then there are people who hate the game because they found it to hard/to hard to level.

Don't hate it unless you've played it. I understand if you don't like what they've done with the lore, but it does have some nice lore.

The funniest thing I see with WoW so far is simply doing lvl 15-50 instances with my irl friends.

I've raided at max level in TBC and it was rather fun, but the preasure you had in raid (were tank :p) kinda became too much and the time it consumed wasn't worth it for me.

For all I care they could release a WoW game where you simply fights bosses and skip drops and everyone have the same level/gear. It'd be enough fun.

  1. The ability for a lvl 1 to kill a lvl 10 with max life/mana etc.
  2. Paying
  3. Stupid quests
  4. The "Yay, nearly killed the boss-guy, and then a lvl 80 comes and kill-steal, then take all the loot."

whoever said that "addiction = bullshit" has obviously not played WoW for more than 3 months.

On average I play a new game hardcore for a week or two, then put it aside and play it whenever i get bored. when I played WoW I'd stay up till 3 on school nights, and on weekends I'd pull 16-20 hour shifts playing WoW. Addiction (to just about anything) runs deep in my family though, so it might just be that.

Regardless, i hate WoW cause i got lazy from it. But my 360 is doing the same... but it gives me Achievement points, which makes my E-penis grow with delight :D

There is so much fail in that post that I don't even need to say why.

well. i read through all eight pages (the first few pages were useless crap, and the final few were more crap about how they should pay). My brother plays WoW (notice the present form of the verb, he still does) hes has several max lvl characters, and i dont see a problem. He still goes out, hes cool, etc. And yes, WoW takes some skill to do, i can hear him on Vent when hes organizing the healers, the warriors etc. And sometimes, those raids last so long, he stays up to 2. Im not sure what to say. but it takes some serious grinding to get up to that level
