Add item to stock.

I'm trying to add an item to the stock of a marketplace. Here is the trigger:

Code:
Test
    Events
        Player - Player 1 (Red) types a chat message containing -test as An exact match
    Conditions
    Actions
        Neutral Building - Add Rod of Necromancy to Marketplace 0041 <gen> with 3 in stock and a max stock of 4
        Player - Set Player 1 (Red) Current gold to 750

Pretty simple, as you can see. The only problem is, when I BUY the Rod of Necromancy that I have added, instead of reducing the stock to 2, the item disappears completely. This happens with all items I have tested so far.

Does anyone know why?

market places do that, use another building besides the market place

I don't think it is an intrinsic property of the market place. I have also used goblin merchant (with other items removed). They all seem to do it.

you could use a tirgger like

a unit buys a item

Add Item type of item being sold to event respond - selling unit

Give your shop to some player other than Neutral Passive.
Neutral Extra for example, with a couple "Player - Set alliance" to set them to neutral.

And re-verify your shop has the "Sell items" ability.
