is it Art-Missile speed = Movement-Speed base? can't understand? see below for more detail.

example, if Art missile speed = 300, is THAT speed equal to unit's 300 moving speed?

No missile speed is the speed at which that specific art travels. Say for instance the missile art is an arrow. The 300 is how fast that arrow will travel... 1 being veeeeery slow and around 3000 being in a few split seconds... If you want movement speed it would be further down the object editor under movement - speed base....

no, i just want to set the ability art missile speed to around 300 movespeed of the unit. no more or less, because if too high the damage dealed is seem to be instant, if too low the damage is easy to dodge. Around 300 will be the best speed.

So is there any way or formula to make art missile speed to 300 unit movespeed?

For your question, the answer is yes.

To test, create a dummy missile ability, Acid Bomb and aimed to a unit. Check the distance, and create timer to see how long it takes to reach the target (use damage taken to see when it reaches). Then just divide the distance with time taken. You get the speed.

movement speed in warcraft is range per second - so if a unit got 250 movement speed it travels 250range/second
Range = something you learn as you use WE - as far as i know, there is nothing to check range in the WE.

the grid on the terrain is showing how "big" a length unit is.
the biggest squares, yellow by default i think, are 512 in size, the next smaller once, white, are 128 and the smallest grey squares are 32.
you should not be confused with a units collision size. the collision size you set for units has to be multiplied by 4 to get the actual size of a unit on the grid. if your units have a collision size of 32 they will be as big as a farm: 128 length units wide.
