Belkin wireless card problems

I have a belkin F5D7000 wireless card, running vista x64 ultimate.

I've got the card plugged in and I've downloaded the version8 drivers for the F5D7000 that are compatible with vista x64. (note: I have downloaded the drivers but not installed them yet, as I can't find the wireless device)

I can't seem to find the card in the device manager... Not quite sure where to go from here.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

edit: have tried restarting, shutting down, pulling the card out and putting it back in then restarting...

Fresh install of vista x64 on brand new computer.

Do we know that the card actually does work? Tried a different computer? Read the manual? Did you do exactly what it says? Tried Belkin's website for support?

Try on different computer. It it works, then I think is your motherboard problem ; if it still silence there, mostly likely it is spoiled.
