Can you make unit sound sets?

I want to create a custom unit-sound-set for my map. The sound editor doesn't allow me to move or change internal sounds, and it doesn't seem to have an option for creating custom sets. However, when i import a sound file it lets me mark that sound as a specific type (ex: Unit Acknowledgement), so it seems to me like i should be able to do this easily. Can this be easy, or do i have to break down and do this all through triggers?

Assuming you are using the TFT editor, right-click on the sound you want to replace (in the left-hand column), and select 'replace internal sound'.
