cannot upload animated avatar

Is this just me being stupid or an actual bug?
This is what I get when I try to bring in a new avatar.

thats werid because Im using an animated image right now, it fits the size requirements, 80x80 and 42 kbs, I cant even upload an older version that Ive used before.

Currently, it comes as an added bonus with the ability to set a custom title.

Probably in some format that did not get detected. We are finding a couple of things that changed from the upgrade and fixing them as we find them. Thanks for the report about that new... feature I guess. It has been noted
