Can't open my World Edit

I seem to be having a problem with my world edit application on my apple macbook. The actual game works perfectly fine, but when i try to open World Edit a warning opens open telling me:

Appliccation Launch Failure

The application "Warcraft III World Editor" could not
be launched because of a shared library error:
"<Warcraft III World Editor><Warcraft III World
Editor><Miles Carbon Library><>"

If you could make sense of this that would be a great help. Any help is good help.

are you trying to open a map downloaded from the internet or are you just launching the world editor exe. if you are trying to open a map by someone else it might be protected.

i'm not shure it works on mac.. but if it does then try downloading NewGen, you can put its map anywere you want on the computer

Im just trying to open the standard Warcraft III World Editor. Its weird though i could have sworn that i just opened it not but a few day ago.

Other than

reinstalling warcraft, i would check to see if the screen resolution is above 1024 by 768.

Can you play games that you downloaded of the net then saved into the download file?
