Changing range problems

I can't seem to increase range for units in newgen. What's wrong with it?

I tried several units, for example, motar team. Changing the range to something higher and test run map. In the game the range is still the same as default (1150).

How to fix this?

Thanks for the reply, i should have searched first (i was struck on 30 sec and was impatient lol.

One more question though. Long range autocast spells on Computer players doesn't work correctly. The computer owned unit with the spell does not cast them (I have already set the acquisition range/spell range/default active ability already)
Tried unit and spell was necromancer with raise dead. (30000 aqquisition and 30000 cast range)
Works fine when it is a player owned unit.

Is there a workaround on this?

"acquisition range/spell range/default active ability already" did you include sight range?
it may be a ai problem, i dont know

I tried giving a dummy unit to give sight range in the location. I also tried giving entire map visibility.
Auto cast is on by default.


Any other ideas?
