Changing the attack range of Hero

why not to test before suggesting, this does not work.

I once did something similar with War Club, which enables and disables attack indexes like Orbs enable the second attack. It's possible that it might not be as an effective solution as you'd want, but working around the game mechanics is always going to be difficult and time consuming.

I've said this before, but there is never a perfect solution. Every solution has its upsides and downsides. It's about what compromises you choose to solve the problem, and each solution posted in this thread has its advantages and disadvantages.
