channeling spell, how to make it non channeling?

How to change channeling spell like rain of fire, stempede, starfall and much more to normal spell where the caster only uses a short period of time casting it and can continue doing what it suppose to do while the spell, still continues until it expires.

The onli way is triggers unless you onli 1 wave of the spell to activate(blizzard).
Create a spell base on a normal casting spell that does nothing.
Create another that is the real spell that is channeling
Create a dummy unit that is ivunerable, cannot be click and is not visible.

Event - When a unit starts the effect of the ability
Condition - Ability being cast = Normal spell that does nothing
Actions- Create 1 dummy for Owner of casting unit at position of casting unit
Order last created unit to cast Realspell at target ability being cast
Add a 10 seconds expiration to last created unit

Actually this line depends on your custom dummy ability (the actual blizzard etc). You would probably go to Unit - Issue Order Targeting a Point, then find the base spell.

pretty much what 0WN3D said, dummy units is the simplest way. And if it is a proper dummy unit you'd want a shorter expiration time for the dumm unit, like 0.5 secs or less.

Unit - Order (Last created unit) to Human Archmage - Blizzard (Target point of ability being cast)

Just change Human Archmage - Blizzard to whatever the triggered spell must be.

To find this line:
-New Action
-Search For Text
-Type in "order"
-Scroll down to "Unit - Issue Order Targeting A Point"
-Change the details of the dummy unit and the point
